Why Temporary ?

2 Corinthians 4:18.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Yet our everyday struggles, pain, and challenges do not seem temporary; they can feel endless at times. Compared to eternity, our individual life on earth is like a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away (James 4:14).

This truth changes our perspective, and we recognize that our suffering, our frustration, and our pain are not forever, and they do not have the final word in our lives.

The reality is that life is short and eternity is long, so let’s live like it. During our brief stay on earth, let’s live with eternity in mind, making the most of every day. Let us be reminded that our current situation is not our final destination. This is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

We are an apparel company that reminds us of this Biblical truth for both the person wearing the apparel and those that we come in contact with in our short yet meaningful life on this side of eternity.

Who we are

Damian McCrink has been involved in ministry for over 20 years, serving alongside his wife, Nancy. They were missionaries in Jamaica, Portugal, and Mozambique. They served as youth pastors and college young adult pastors in two churches until they planted a church in the Chicago area that they led for 10 years. In 2022, Nancy very unexpectedly and quickly passed from this life to eternity from a very aggressive brain tumor. Nancy lived a full life, always talking about the hope of heaven; they just never expected she would go so soon. Temporary was born out of the grief and hope that Damian has experienced in losing the love of his life and yet holding onto the hope of heaven.

The mission

The proceeds from Temporay Apparel enable us to continue to share the message of hope with those going through tremendous grief and suffering. We do this by preaching in local church communities and hosting individuals and families who have gone through significant loss and trauma. If you know of someone who needs to hear personally that their current pain is temporary, please share our content and let us know how we can help by contacting us below.
